1ST VETERAN'S BATTALION - GENERAL RECRUITING INFORMATION
Hello, and welcome to the 1st Veterans Battalion general recruiting information
and application forms. Here, you will find the requirements, FAQ's, and rules
of conduct you will need to read and agree to abide by in order to join the
1st Veteran's Battalion. It is also highly recommended that you take the time
to read over our Battalion
SOP to learn more about our battalion before applying. Our Recruiting
FAQ's can help with any unanswered questions.
The designation, listed below, is what you can apply for within the 1st
Veteran's Battalion:
- (1VB) = An active member of the 1st Veterans Battalion. (This tag is worn
after the completion of all training requirements.)
The tag of (1VBt) will be issued upon acceptance, and represents a recruit undergoing
training with the Battalion. This tag is only worn after your application has
been approved by the Senior Chain of Command. You will be notified by the DI
Cadre or Battalion Recruiters if approved and will wear this tag during training.

The current procedure you must follow if you wish to join the 1st Veterans
Battalion:
- You will need to read this Welcome Page and the Rules of Conduct. It is
also suggested that you go to our Battalion
SOP and read it through before continuing. You will need to agree to
the terms and conditions of both in order to continue to the next step.
- Register in our forum. This
is where the majority of our information is communicated. If you fail to
do this you will not have access to some required areas of our forum. When
you register your forum account, will need to respond to an Activation Email.
If you do not enter a valid Email address then you will have problems receiving
the activation email. So make sure you have a valid Email address.
- Fill out the Application Form. Also, send in a follow-up e-mail to recruiter@1vb.us
to ensure that the application form has been received. If for some reason
the form does not work or you have problems then send an email to recruiter@1vb.us,
stating your Real Name, Nick Name, and Request for Recruitment. Once we
receive the request a member of the Recruiting Squad will contact you to
help you.
- Proof of military service is required to be a member of 1VB, as proof
we accept one of the following:
- Please blacken out any protected information on scanned copies sent
to us.
- A scanned copy of your DD-214 (or foreign equivalent)
- A scanned copy of your non-expired Military ID card. (Or foreign equivalent.)
- Course certificates or awards. (On approval must meet service requirements.)
- The documents should be e-mailed to recruiter@1vb.us
or to your assigned recruiter if one has contacted you. The 1st Veteran's
Battalion is an international organization and we have members from other
countries that are able to verify documents from other nations.
- If you are currently a member of another clan, you must resign your position
before you are accepted into the Battalion. We require that you CC a copy
of the request to recruiter@1vb.us.
When the other clan responds to your request please ensure that they also
CC their response to recruiter@1vb.us.
It may take about 7-10 days before you get a reply, please be patient.
- After receiving the application form and have verified your Veteran/Active
Duty Status, your application will be reviewed and passed up the Chain of
Command. The Chain of Command will then determine if you will be admitted
into the Battalion. Once the decision is made, you will be contacted by
the DI Cadre or BN Recruiters.
